I totally support the other reviews, and wish I had been smart enough to read them before I made the mistake of buying this oven.

It is a very nice looking piece of glass and stainless steel. If you never actually cook in your kitchen, but want a nice looking piece of hardware, this is the oven for you.

When you turn it on, the fun starts. The fan is unbelievably loud. I find that I have to turn up the TV in the next room when my wife turns on the oven in the kitchen. No kidding.

Then, you have the electrical gremlins. In my case, the oven forgets the target temperature and has ruined several dishes. This is after 2 years and using the oven a total of less than 20 times.

For the past 40 years, I have had basic GE ovens with a heating element and a thermostat. All that time, I had to replace one heating element. That is the sum total of maintenance issues with basic GE oven. Now I have a $3100 computer-controlled rocket ship. It looks like a million bucks, but I can’t even get a sheet of chocolate chip cookies out of it.
