Expensive Flaw in Light

Positive Performs well for cooking
Cons: Expensive design flaw not addressed by manufacturer

Overall this oven cooks well, although I have never been able to get the integrated meat thermometer to work correctly and more importantly, after only 3 years a very expensive (over $400) repair was needed to the oven light so that it would stop incessantly turning itself on and off. Dacor customer support was completely unresponsive to the problem, which I consider a design defect (I’m not the only one who has had this problem). For this reason alone, I would hesitate to purchase a Dacor appliance again.
