I bought my Viking DEDO205 double electric convection oven 31/2 years ago and have nothing but trouble. It was even replace once. Then the clock module did not work. Got it replaced. Next time daylight savings came it did not set correctly and they would not replace it again. Out of warranty they say.

The fan stays on for 1-2 hours after I turn the oven off. A fire hazard I believe.

The oven temp can not be set exactly and fluctuates drastically. They say it is within specs. I set it for 350 and it goes to 400 or higher then down to 350 or lower and back and forth. “This is how it works.” I was told. Makes for poor baking.

The display panel gets very hot. Doors don’t.

The racks do not glide easily.

When self cleaning there are areas that do not clean. If I have to scrub then it is not self cleaning!

Wrote Viking and asked if they would extend the warranty as I had so many problems. At lease 6 service calls I can find records for, others missing. Answer was NO.

Knob even broke a year ago and I don’t do that much cooking!

Would love to get rid of it!
