It’s a beautiful oven with great features when they work. The convection oven is great for baking. It heats things evenly and I would recommend it if it worked. Unfortunately, it has stopped working twice in the ten months time that I’ve had it and GE is not good at providing service. The first time I tried to use the self-cleaning feature, it stopped working. When I called GE they told me to unplug it for 30 seconds and then plug it in and it should work. (Unplugging a wall oven is a neat trick.) I shut off the circuit breaker several times with no success. I had to make numerous phone calls before I got someone to agree to come out - in a week. When the serviceman arrived, he said he would have to order a part - another week. Then another week to get another appointment to install the part. Then the serviceman tried to charge me $125 for the repair of the oven that was on warranty! He was not happy when I refused to give him my credit card just in case he needed it. I was even less happy, especially after going 3 weeks without an oven. The second time I tried to use the self cleaning feature the same thing happened. I called GE (1 (800) GE CARES!). The second repair person said the first one should have installed a whole new computer, but only installed a new touch pad. Again the part had to be ordered. It was on back order and will take at least two weeks to get. After GE receives it they will send it to me and after I receive it I have to call to make another appointment for a repair person to come install the part. I presume I will be without an oven for a month this time. After paying over $2000 for this product less than a year ago, I am extremely dissatisfied with GE’s lack of support for it’s product. I will never buy a GE product again.
