Totally Disgusted With GE

Positive Appearance
Cons: Unreliable, constantly breaking, expensive.

We built our home in 1999 and this oven went well with the decor, so we purchased it figuring that GE was a good brand name - wrong! After having the oven a year, MAYBE using the oven 6 times, the F7 code appeared. Called a repair person, bought a new touch panel and paid his labor. Worked good for a few months and F7 came back. Called GE, complained, they said that they had no record of this problem in other units of course. Got another panel from a different repair person. 6 months later, guess what happened? F7 again. Replaced it with the 3rd panel and now I shut the breaker off to the oven when we don’t use it. Turned the breaker on the other day, started using the oven and F7 came up again. Going to buy a new oven, definitely will never buy another GE product again. I don’t think it’s right to have to replace an appliance after only 50 or so uses.
