Bought this to replace an over range second oven, entire unit had to go. The 29 year old WhirlPool all electric unit is being replaced with a dual fuel DCS gas range and electric convection oven, DCS backsplash, and Zephyr Range Hood, which I will review seperately.

First week I did several old favorites including a banana cake, most even cooking cake I have done. Turned down temp 25 to 325 and kept time at 30m. Next time I will reduce time a little as well.

Roasted several pounds of thawed chicken legs, thighs and breasts, 2 trays done in a half hour, nicely crispy and very juicy.

This is the first use of a convection oven, but guidance online and with the oven helped to understand the changes needed even for my 50 year old recipe.

Be sure to clean interior carefully before burn in procedure, we found styrofoam behind the metal surface covering the fan.

Door seems nice and solid, handle fits well. Glass doors is two layers with an opening at the top and bottom to allow convection of cool air between them to keep the outer glass cool.

The glass door does let in enough lite to see in most cases, an interior light would be a great feature.

Would recommend, hopefully will not need to buy again.
