This oven is possessed. Not only have I had it worked on 3 times for the same problem but now it likes to turn itself back on after being used. And I can’t shut it off with out tripping it at the breaker and leaving it off. I wake up in the middle of the night to hear it beeping and flashing F1 or F7 codes on the screen. I have had our local electric company out to test our lines for surges. No problem we are in acceptable ranges. But Thermador felt it was still the electric companies problem and not their own. But, now having read reviews from this web site I see I am not alone and this really is a problem. And to top it all off my neighbor next door has the same oven. They purchased it at the same time and are having the same problems with it too. Including having problems with the glass doors exploding during a self clean. I also have had that problem. I have had the brains of this oven replaced 3 times and need to have it done again. I think it is time for a class action suit against Thermador for this product. I should have known when they only give a 1 year warranty for this product that it was for a reason. They only work the 1st year!
